Apparently, I cannot be on time for a Tuesday morning meeting. Mondays? Fine. Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays? No problem. Tuesdays? Can't do it. I don't know why, but no matter how early I leave for a Tuesday morning meeting, I cannot make it on time. The Traffic Gods look down upon me and say "NO!" and proceed to throw cars, trucks, straw, plastic bags, branches, and little red cloth things at me (all of this was just this morning, we won't go into other Tuesday morning meeting drives).
Like take today. I had a meeting at 10am. I left 25 minutes earlier than usual just to make sure I would make it on time. I arrived at 10 on the dot and still had to walk from car to building to desk. I checked traffic before I left. No wrecks, roads were the normal mix of green and orange. And still, I was late. This doesn't happen on any other day but Tuesday. Stupid Tuesdays. Bright side, the main lady who was basically presenting the meeting didn't show up til like 10:30, we didn't attempt the meeting till 10:45, and big boss said "I have meeting at 11, we do this later" so meeting was postponed. But still. Stupid Tuesdays.
Anyways, moving on. One of the new books I bought last night tricked me into reading it, so I'll have (yet another) review for you peoples in a bit. I'm liking these review things. They are fun.
