Okay, so pickles and peanut butter are not a good combination. And I arrived at this observation by eating chili.
How, you ask? Well, allow me to explain.
I, being stupidly late this morning, did not bring a lunch with me. Upon arriving at work, I discovered that my Cabinet O' Food is out of soup. So I had to get lunch from the cafe downstairs. The cafe had chili. It's not bad chili. It's not great chili. But it's pretty decent chili. So I got the chili. And some saltine crackers. Only, I did not get enough saltine crackers to last the entire bowl of chili. So I went back to my Cabinet O' Food and got the Ritz crackers I normally eat with my soups. Ritz crackers and chili is a very weird taste. Definitely different than saltines and chili. After a couple crackers and spoonfuls of chili, I decided it's not a bad weird taste. It's not a good weird taste. It's just...different. I stated this observation to my coworkers in general. One of them said to add a kosher dill pickle. Pickles and chili are not that odd of a combination. The sour bite of the pickle kinda offsets the spicy bite of the chili. Would I eat them in the same bite? No. But one bite after the other? Sure. Pickles are awesome with just about anything. Except ice cream. And peanut butter.
Therefore, pickles and peanut butter are never to go together.
You're weird. But Wendy's has really good chili. :)
